Earthwizard's Realms of Faërie: The Poetry of Silvelock

We are all students throughout our lives.

	The Student

I have looked once into the mirror
That a yogi told me of years ago
I have seen some of the reflections
That the master said might begin to show.
He said my way might be difficult
That the images might not be clear
He told me that I must find the courage
	To overcome the greatest fear.
What fear is this master, I asked of him then
Is there no other on the journey
That I may truly call friend?
Your journey will be long and arduous
There will be many obstacles along your way
But she of hazel eyes will come to help you
	On a late fall day.
You will be tired and discouraged
It will seem that your journey has no end
She of hazel eyes and fair complexion
Is one that you may call friend.
I would have asked more of the master
But he only smiled and said go now my student
For your journey has already begun.
