Earthwizard's Realms of Faërie

O dark the winds of time...

		Destiny's Child

	O dark the winds of time
	the mind bent deed of spite:
	listening to the witching song,
	casting the spell of might:
	the power of light
	bending to our will
	the dark measure
	of this black rite;
	the troubled look,
	the god of fright belies:
	Pan, the keeper of the treasure,
	his eyes green and wild,
	his horns sprouting flowers
	in the forest of the night
	where all strange gods,
	great and small,
	dream in the twilight world;
	here the elfin spawn
	trod the hidden paths
	of faerie in song and deed,
	their merry lives
	bound to the light
	of this green earth;
	and, we, the fatal guest,
	the sprites marked hate
	begets, in measure of our
	forgetfulness; the quick
	and the dead, no promise
	to give, bound to the magick
	of this circle of our need:
	whence the circuit of the stars:
	the bear and dragon lords,
	crossing in the night,
	where destiny's child
	awaits us on the morn
	of our early birthing in the Sun!
